Deploys Backstage with optional AWS and Kubernetes integrations using Upbound.
This project provides an Upbound configuration for deploying Backstage, a developer portal platform, with optional managed services and Kubernetes integrations.
It includes a custom API definition using a CompositeResourceDefinition (XRD), a composition, and an embedded function to encapsulate the logic. The configuration can provision services such as:
- Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- AWS networking components
- AWS Load Balancer Controller
- External DNS Controller
- NGINX Ingress Controller
- Cert Manager
- EKS Pod Identity
